Crystal Palace look set to complete the loan signing of Leicester striker TREVOR BENJAMIN today.
BENJAMIN has been frozen out at Leicester and TREVOR Francis is keen to add a physical presence to the front line.
Francis said: "TREVOR has found life a little bit difficult in the Premiership.
"This could be a great chance for him to play regularly in the First Division and get back to where he was a few months ago.
"He has certainly got all the attributes that a good striker needs. He is six foot tall, good in the air, strong running and has got pace. It gives us another alternative.
"He has probably got something to prove because he was in the first-team and now finds himself on the sidelines with Brian Deane's arrival.
"We needed to sign another attacking player. Apart from Clinton Morrison and Dougie Freedman, we have not got too much competition in that area. TREVOR give us a different option.
"We need a player of his size and physical presence. There is lots of improvement to come from him."
